Etsy Application Terms & API Integration Notice

foliascore is a private bookkeeping and inventory dashboard for Etsy sellers. This page explains exactly how foliascore integrates with the Etsy API, what it accesses, and what it does — and does not — do with your shop.

Trademark & API integration notice

The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy. foliascore is solely provided by FOLIASCORE PTE. LTD (the "Application Developer"). Etsy, Inc. and its affiliates are not the Application Developer, do not provide the application service, and make no warranties of any kind with respect to the application or the data accessed through it. Read-only access

foliascore is read-only. It never creates, edits, or deletes anything in your Etsy shop — not your listings, prices, inventory quantities, or orders. When you connect your shop through Etsy's OAuth, foliascore requests exactly four read scopes and no write scope:

• transactions_r — your receipts and transactions (orders, line items, quantities, prices, ship dates) and your payment-account ledger (the fee and payout entries used to reconstruct net payout and itemise fees).
• listings_r — your listings and their variations, to match sold items to your products.
• billing_r — your billing/fee context.
• shops_r — your shop's currency and basic account details.

foliascore requests no listings_w, transactions_w, shops_w, or any other write scope. There is no feature — present or planned on this integration — that writes back to Etsy. If that ever changed, it would require a separate Etsy scope-change review before any write scope was requested.

How your data is handled

• Single authorising seller's own data. foliascore only accesses the data of the seller who authorised it, for that seller's own shop. It does not transfer your Etsy data to any third party.
• Encrypted at rest. OAuth tokens and synced shop data are encrypted at rest.
• Freshness & caching. foliascore caches your synced data to render your dashboard and refreshes it on a throttled schedule; it displays your data as reported by Etsy and never presents modified figures as Etsy's.
• No AI or machine learning. foliascore does not use your Etsy data to train, fine-tune, or feed any AI/ML model, and does not sell or share it.
• Deletion. You can disconnect Etsy at any time — that revokes foliascore's access immediately — and you can delete your data from inside the app (Settings → Danger zone).

Breach notification

If foliascore becomes aware of a security incident affecting your Etsy data, we will notify affected users promptly and take remedial action, consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
