Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use foliascore (the marketing site at foliascore.com and the application at app.foliascore.com). By creating an account or otherwise using foliascore, you agree to them. They are written in plain English on purpose.

1. Your account

You can create an account using your email address or your Google account. You're responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. Don't share your account with people outside your business; if you need multi-user access, that's coming on a future tier.

2. What foliascore does

foliascore connects to your Etsy shop with read-only OAuth, pulls your orders, listings, and ad spend, and shows you a real Etsy P&L. It also lets you log other business expenses and track inventory. It does not file your taxes, replace your accountant, or move money on your behalf.

3. Subscriptions and payment

The Free tier is genuinely free with no credit card. Paid tiers (Starter, Pro, Studio) are billed monthly in advance through a merchant-of-record provider. You can cancel from inside the app at any time; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for and then revert to the Free tier.

If you exceed your tier's order cap, we won't surprise-bill you — we'll email you and ask you to upgrade. Sales tax, VAT, or GST is added by the payment provider where applicable.

4. Refunds

If foliascore isn't working for you, email us within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it. After 14 days, we handle refunds case by case. There's no refund for partial months on cancellation.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use foliascore to violate Etsy's terms of service or any applicable law.
• Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to bypass usage limits.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or to our systems.
• Resell foliascore as a managed service to other Etsy sellers without a written agreement.

6. Your content and data

You own your data. We store and process it solely to provide the service. You can export it (CSV, PDF, Sheets) at any time, and you can delete your account from inside the app, which removes your data on the timeline described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The foliascore name, logo, software, designs, and content are owned by foliascore. You don't get any rights to them beyond using the service as intended. Open-source components we ship are governed by their own licences.

8. Service availability

We do our best to keep foliascore online, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows happen. Etsy occasionally changes its API, which can cause temporary sync delays — we work around these as fast as we can.

9. Changes to the service

The product evolves. We may add, change, or remove features. If a change materially reduces the value of a paid tier you're on, we'll email you and you'll be able to cancel for a pro-rata refund.

10. Termination

You can stop using foliascore at any time by deleting your account. We can suspend or end accounts that breach these terms or that pose a risk to other users or our infrastructure. Where reasonable, we'll let you know first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

11. Disclaimers

foliascore is a tool, not professional accounting advice. The numbers it shows are based on what Etsy reports and what you enter; we recommend reviewing them with your accountant before using them for tax filings. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except where local law says otherwise.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, foliascore's total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid foliascore in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 100. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of Singapore. If you're a consumer in another jurisdiction, this doesn't override mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects your rights, we'll email active users before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
